what’s on
Sundays
Morning Service - 10:30am
Every week we meet together as wider community at
St Augustine’s. We hear from the bible, sing together and pray for the world around us. All are welcome and you can join in with whatever you feel comfortable. To find out more visit the St Augustine’s Wrangthorn website.
Eat - 1pm
We meet together as a community every week for a free community meal. This is a chance to relax or work, eat great food and get to know others. We have table games, table tennis and even pool tables. We cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements and if you have any questions why not drop us a message. We would love to meet you!
Coffee Cart
Once a week during term time, we hand out free tea and coffee on Woodhouse Moor, with milk & oat milk available. We’re usually there on a Monday morning, if you spot our bright orange cart (you can’t miss it!), do come and grab a drink and say hi, we’d love to get to know you!
explore@hpc
If you have more questions about life and faith, we would love to invite you to explore@hpc. It’s a space to have those deep chats about purpose, religion, Jesus, and how we might live a better life.
This might be with others in our termly explore space, or it may be one on one with a member of our team.
where do you meet?
We’re right on the corner of Hyde Park - you can find us next to Woodhouse Moor, right beside the One Stop, and opposite Hyde Park Pub.
what should I do before coming?
If you’re interested in coming along, feel free to just turn up, or message us on Instagram or Facebook to say hi to one of us before coming.
is the building wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we’re currently meeting in the hall next to the church for our community meal, which is wheelchair accessible, including with an accessible toilet. The church, where we hold our service also has accessible areas, although not all parts of the church are accessible - we’re in the process of refurbishing our building so that it becomes 100% accessible for all.
can I come even if I don’t believe in God?
Absolutely! Church is for everyone, no matter what you believe. All are welcome, and we would love to hear your questions over a coffee or our free meal!
can I volunteer to help?
We love celebrating people’s gifts, whether it’s music, hospitality, cooking, etc. If you fancy playing piano, helping prepare the food or welcoming people as they come in, just send us a message and we’ll get you involved.
